Pews v. Standing

A thoughtful article on
why many Orthodox
parishes, including our
own, do not have pews
in the center of the
worship space (though

Orthodox controversy

into Orthodoxy
in a parish without
pews. St. Seraphim's
Catheral in Dallas,
observes the
traditional Orthodox

lining the sides of
the worship space
for those who
cannot or who don't
wish to stand for
the service.
